Anonymous asked: First of all, I absolutely adore your blog! Even though you haven't been on for a really long time (dont worry about it) it's still great! So one of my best friends may be a lesbian. She's never ever liked anyone, and we're freshmen in high school. But now she might have a crush on a girl. And I want to be supportive and the good friend I've always been. And I already told her I'd still love her, even if she was a lesbian. But everything in the Bible goes against that. idk what to do!
The Bible is firm on one thing, and that homosexuality is a sin. First of all, PRAY for her. We can’t really change her heart, but we can talk to her about it. I used to be afraid to correct someone but my mom told me that better to bring a little pain into a relationship to point out the wrong, than to stand by and do nothing about it cause you’re too scared to hurt their feelings. Sometimes girl to girl relationships stem from deeper issues, past hurts from men in their lives that makes them turn to women cause they understand each other better. Try asking her how she sees it also in the long run. Talk to her about how she feels and try to see where she’s coming from.
(P.S. I’m really sorry i just got to reply to this now, been so busy with work)
