somethingxpretty asked: hey DJ, I have a few questions for you today: On judgement day, how is the judgement of Christians (who have already been forgiven?) going to go? Are we going to be judged and "excused" or are we going to appear clean because of Christ's sacrifice? Second: I woke up the day after my close friend's funeral with a feeling and almost a distant memory that he and Jesus came to me - I can't remember any words spoken, just a feeling of comfort. Would the Lord allow this, or was it maybe just my brain?
Those who have accepted Christ are not judged for their sins, rather for how faithful they have been with the things God has entrusted to them. You can look at the parallel in the parable of talents. We are wear the holiness of Christ, and so we won’t be judged for all the mistakes we’ve made. Those who were faithful with what has been given to them shall be entrusted with more. :)
Second: I cannot say and limit how God reveals Himself to people. He can use dreams, or whisper audibly, or He can speak directly through the Bible. God can allow it to comfort you :) But it doesn’t also mean that what we think in our heads are always from God :)
